B.C. beaches take top four spots in Travel and Tour World ranking
Travel and Tour World placed four British Columbia beaches at the top of its Canadian beach list, led by Chesterman Beach on Vancouver Island.

British Columbia claimed the top four places in Travel and Tour World’s latest ranking of Canadian beaches.
Chesterman Beach on Vancouver Island was ranked first, followed by Long Beach in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. Kits Beach and English Bay in Vancouver placed third and fourth.
The travel publication highlighted Chesterman’s more than 2.7 kilometres of white sand and its low-tide tombolo linking the shore toward privately owned Frank Island. Long Beach lies on Vancouver Island’s west coast and is within a protected area of the Clayoquot Sound UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.
The remaining beaches named in the top 10 were Cavendish Beach and Singing Sands Beach in Prince Edward Island; Lawrencetown Beach and Ingonish Beach in Nova Scotia; Parlee Beach in New Brunswick; and Sandbanks Beaches in Ontario.
TTW also placed Canada 27th in its 2026 global beach-destination ranking.
