Canada-wide recall issued for INMO AI smart glasses over burn hazard
Health Canada has recalled INMO AIR3 Smart Glasses after warning that the left temple can overheat during extended use, creating a serious burn risk.

Health Canada has issued a Canada-wide recall for INMO AIR3 Smart Glasses, warning owners to stop using them because the left temple can overheat during extended use. The department says the issue poses a serious injury risk, including burns.
The recalled glasses are black and have “AIR3” and “INMO” printed on a label inside the right arm. They were sold from December 2025 through August 2026. The company reported sales of 120 units in Canada and 1,643 in the United States.
The glasses, listed between $900 and $1,300, may have been purchased through Amazon, Kickstarter or INMO’s website. Health Canada advises consumers to immediately stop using the recalled product and update its firmware to version 3.16 before using it again.
INMO AIR3 combines smart-glasses functions with wireless audio and an AI assistant. It can stream media and offer AI-supported translation, productivity and other functions. The device has four built-in microphones for voice commands and calls, plus two open-air speakers.
Consumers can contact the company at 1-800-689-8547 from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, or by email at support.usa@inmoxr.com.
