Search underway for missing 78-year-old Port Moody man

Police in Port Moody are asking the public to help locate Woo “Sam” Park, a 78-year-old man reported missing Sunday evening after his family could not find him.

Park was last seen at about 3:30 p.m. at his home near Parkside Drive. Police say he recently moved to the area, has memory issues and is believed to be travelling on foot. Coquitlam Search and Rescue volunteers are assisting in the Heritage Woods area.

He is described as an Asian man, just over five feet tall, with a slim build and short light-grey hair. He was wearing black pants, a black shirt and a navy hat when last seen. Anyone who sees Park or has information on his whereabouts is asked to contact local police.
