Bloody new Carrie trailer features Vancouver high school
Eric Hamber Secondary School appears in the Prime Video series trailer after being transformed into Ewen High School during filming in Metro Vancouver.

The official trailer for Prime Video’s Carrie TV series features Eric Hamber Secondary School in Vancouver, including classrooms, a changeroom and a gymnasium. The school was transformed into Ewen High School for filming, which took place in Metro Vancouver from June to October 2026.
The series is the latest adaptation of Stephen King’s 1974 novel and is led by Mike Flanagan, who directed and wrote the 2019 Doctor Sleep, a sequel to The Shining. Summer H. Howell stars as Carrie, a high school student who is relentlessly bullied. The trailer includes bloody scenes consistent with the source material.
A fiery scene filmed in Cloverdale last year is also included. Parts of the historic neighbourhood and designated town centre were altered for the multi-day shoot, with storefronts changed, streets closed and several cars appearing to be set ablaze.
Heather Graham also filmed in Vancouver for Carrie. In a social-media post, she described Vancouver as one of the most beautiful cities and said she was particularly fond of the bike path in Stanley Park. She also shared photos taken in and around the park and noted a visit to Vij’s.
