Guildford Town Centre opens free Haunted Bog walk-through for Halloween
The two-minute attraction opened Oct. 9 in a vacant unit by Entrance 6 and runs until Oct. 31. Visitors can bring a non-perishable food item for the Surrey Food Bank, with the mall matching each donation up to $5,000.

A free Halloween walk-through called Secrets of the Haunted Bog has opened at Guildford Town Centre. The temporary attraction is in a vacant unit on the west side of Entrance 6. It features water-based haunted haze in low light, animatronics and mysterious creatures, and takes about two minutes to walk through. Children under five may find it too spooky; older children and adults can expect playful frights. The mall website describes it as “now darker, scarier and back in a vacant unit.”
The attraction is open until Oct. 31, from noon to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday. It is on the mall’s lower level near London Drugs, across from Play Park. Visitors are invited to bring a non-perishable food item for the Surrey Food Bank. Guildford Town Centre will match each item donated with $2, up to a maximum of $5,000.
Lee’s Donuts is also opening soon near the attraction. The business launched at Granville Island Public Market in 1979 and now sells sweet treats at 11 locations across Metro Vancouver.
