Coquitlam will offer free workshops, exhibitions, public-art tours and community events from Sept. 18 to Oct. 4.

Coquitlam’s Culture Days program will run from Sept. 18 to Oct. 4, offering free workshops, exhibitions, public-art tours and community events. The program opens Sept. 18 at Town Centre Park Community Centre, 1207 Pinetree Way, with a kickoff and visual arts exhibition reception where residents can meet local artists and learn about programming across the city.
The City’s 2026 Visual Arts Group Exhibition, City Life: Art Inspired by Urban Living, runs at Town Centre Park Community Centre from Sept. 18, 2026, to March 1, 2027. It features local work exploring the energy, diversity and everyday experiences of urban life. Coquitlam City Hall will also display In Transit, a photographic series by Coquitlam artist Miranti Aisyah featuring public transit in the Lower Mainland, B.C. coastal waters and Indonesia.
Creative Connections, a free three-part series for newcomer visual artists, is scheduled for Sept. 20, Sept. 27 and Oct. 4. It introduces local arts organizations, exhibition opportunities and ways to connect with the arts community. Public-art tours are scheduled for the City Centre on Sept. 26 and Burquitlam on Oct. 3.
Community partners, including Evergreen Arts, Coquitlam Heritage Society, Coquitlam Public Library and Place des Arts, will also offer free events.
