Man charged after Chinatown business break-in
Vancouver police say a 28-year-old man was arrested and charged after a window was broken at a Chinatown business Monday morning.

Vancouver police say they were called to a business near Georgia Street and Gore Avenue at about 7 a.m. Monday after an employee reported that a man had broken a window and entered the building.
After searching the building and reviewing video, officers believed the man remained inside. Witness accounts later led police to a second-storey fire escape, where he was found.
The Vancouver Police Department says Raymond Chan, 28, was arrested without incident and charged with one count of break-and-enter. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 25; the charge has not been proven in court.
