North Vancouver man charged in child sexual exploitation investigation
A 58-year-old North Vancouver man faces three charges after a Port Moody police investigation into alleged exploitation of a vulnerable youth.

A 58-year-old North Vancouver man has been charged following a child sexual exploitation investigation that began more than a year ago, Port Moody police say.
Police said they received information in spring 2025 alleging that a vulnerable youth had been sexually exploited by a man in the Lower Mainland.
Majid Talebi was formally charged Aug. 11 with one count of invitation to sexual touching involving a person under 16 and two counts of telecommunication to lure a child under 16.
Const. Sam Zacharias said the Major Crime Section conducted a complex and sensitive investigation over the past year, alongside a civil forfeiture process. Talebi was scheduled to make his first court appearance Wednesday. Police released no further details.
