Yellow air-quality warning issued for Metro Vancouver
Metro Vancouver has issued a yellow air-quality warning as heat, local emissions and wildfire smoke contribute to smog across the region.

Metro Vancouver Regional District has issued a yellow air-quality warning for the region, citing a combination of hot, sunny weather, local emissions and wildfire smoke.
The City of Delta says smoke, particularly from wildfires, contains fine particulate matter that can pose health risks. Conditions are expected to improve by the weekend as the weather pattern changes.
