Surrey man charged in alleged possession of more than 14,000 child exploitation files

Wade Bruce Craig, 37, has been charged in connection with the alleged possession of more than 14,000 child sexual abuse and exploitation photos and videos, police say.

Surrey police internet child-exploitation officers began their investigation in May 2025 after receiving reports about the material. A search warrant was executed at a Surrey home in August 2025, where investigators seized thousands of files as evidence.

Craig was charged Aug. 4, 2026, with possession and accessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material. He was arrested Aug. 6, released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 27.
