FVRCF opens grants for charities serving vulnerable youth
Eligible charities serving marginalized and at-risk youth in Surrey and several Fraser Valley communities can apply for one-time FVRCF grants of $1,000 to $25,000 by Sept. 16.

The Fraser Valley Realtors Charitable Foundation is accepting applications for its 2026 grant program, which supports charities working directly with marginalized, vulnerable or at-risk youth under 29.
Eligible organizations can apply between June 15 and Sept. 16 for one-time grants ranging from $1,000 to $25,000. Applicants must be registered Canadian charities in good standing and be based in Surrey, North Delta, Mission, Abbotsford, the City of Langley, the Township of Langley or White Rock.
The foundation says the funding is intended for programs delivered by the charities. Granting committee chair Karen Conyers said the program is meant to help front-line organizations broaden their reach and respond to urgent needs among young people.
Executive director Jamie Hayes said the foundation wants to connect donor support with practical help that reduces barriers for youth. Board chair David Herman said the organization reached $1 million in cumulative funding distributed in 2025 and is continuing the grant cycle in 2026.
