Vancouver police seize and search a boat in False Creek after Marine Squad and ERT board it
Vancouver police arrested four people and seized firearms-related items and suspected drugs after searching a False Creek boat following a report of alleged gunfire into the water.

The Vancouver Police Department says it seized and searched a boat moored in False Creek after receiving reports that someone aboard had allegedly fired a gun with a suppressor into the water on Sunday evening.
The VPD Marine Squad and Emergency Response Team boarded the vessel, Night Shadow, at about 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 13. Four people were found aboard and arrested. The boat was towed to a secure location, where police obtained a warrant to search it.
Police say they found a chrome handgun, multiple gun parts, a large extended magazine and several suppressors. They also seized several baggies of suspected crystal methamphetamine and fentanyl, along with large bags of cutting agents, dyes, scales and drug-cooking utensils. The investigation is continuing and charges are pending.
