Three arrested after Burnaby assault sends man to hospital
Burnaby RCMP say three suspects remain in custody after a man with serious injuries consistent with an assault was found Thursday night and taken to hospital in stable condition.

Burnaby RCMP say three people remain in custody after an assault investigation led officers to a home near Deer Lake Park.
Police were called shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday to the 5500 block of Oakland Street for a report of a man with serious injuries consistent with an assault. He was taken to hospital in stable condition and is receiving treatment, RCMP said.
The Burnaby RCMP Investigative Support Team took over the investigation and traced the alleged assailants to a home in the 6000 block of Elgin Avenue, about a block away. With help from the Lower Mainland Emergency Response Team, officers arrested three suspects Friday night.
The property remained behind police tape Saturday. Police said the investigation is continuing.
