Conservative Party of Surrey candidate Cordel Pullar outlines priorities for city council
Pullar lists seniors’ health care, Surrey’s diverse communities, and arts and cultural heritage as priorities, and says she would advocate for a dedicated children’s and seniors’ hospital in Newton.

Cordel Pullar is a Conservative Party of Surrey candidate. She describes herself as an Afro-Canadian multicultural leader and community advocate committed to strengthening Surrey through responsible governance and people-centred public policy. Her three priorities are supporting seniors and improving health care access in Surrey, strengthening the city’s diverse communities, and supporting artistic expression and cultural heritage.
On seniors and health care, Pullar says she has worked with seniors for 50 years, often in some of the most difficult and undervalued roles. As a mother of two, she says she has seen the heavy demands on hospitals first-hand. With the Conservative Party of Surrey, she supports a dedicated hospital for children and seniors in Newton. If elected to council, she says she will advocate for the different levels of care each group needs.
Pullar says she brings people together across backgrounds to foster understanding, collaboration and meaningful progress, and leads with integrity, empathy and a commitment to service.
