Guildford Athletic Club in Surrey is seeking girls born in 2017 for its U10 Courage team as registration remains open for the 2026-27 season.

Guildford Athletic Club is recruiting girls born in 2017 for its U10 Courage soccer team ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Coach Lisa Denton said the team has eight players and is looking to reach 12 to 14. The club, founded in 1965, plays at Hjorth Road Park in Surrey. Registration remains open at guildfordac.com.
The fall and winter season runs from September to March, with staggered starts by age group. Boys’ teams generally play on Saturdays and girls’ teams on Sundays. Weekday practice times, where offered, begin at 5 p.m. or later once teams are formed.
U6 and U7 players have Saturday games only in September, starting Sept. 19, and no weekday practices that month. Beginning in October, those groups move indoors to Lena Shaw Elementary on Tuesdays or Thursdays. U3 to U5 programs begin outdoors in September and move to local gyms in October, while U8 to U10 teams start outdoors for practices and games.
Families must pay a $100 volunteer fee when registering. The deposit will be returned after the required volunteer commitment is completed, with refunds scheduled for December 2026, April 2027 or July 2027.
