Langley School District to introduce My Ride K-12 app for bus riders
Beginning in 2026–27, families and students will use My Ride K-12 to check assigned bus stops and times and receive delay or route-change notices.

Beginning in the 2026–27 school year, Langley School District Transportation Service will use the My Ride K-12 app and website to provide parents, guardians and students with current bus-rider information. Users will be able to view assigned bus stops and pickup and drop-off times, and receive notifications about bus delays or route changes.
Parents, guardians and students will be expected to use the app or website to check a child’s assigned stop and pickup and drop-off time. The Transportation Department will no longer email bus-rider information to individual families or students before or during the school year. Emergency or urgent messages will be sent through My Ride K-12 push notifications, while phone calls and emails will continue to be used when needed.
Each rider may have one primary user, a parent or guardian, create an account and link it to the rider. The primary user may also link other accounts, such as a student’s or a second parent’s or guardian’s account. Other individuals cannot link themselves to a rider; Transportation Department staff may manually link or unlink accounts to meet safety, security and privacy procedures.
Families can consult the My Ride Parent User Guide and register through the Apple App Store for iOS, Google Play Store for Android, or https://myridek12.tylerapp.com/. A guide is also available for enabling notification permissions. The district says the application is intended to improve transportation-system efficiency, communications with families and students, and rider safety and security.
