Delta Police have identified a woman found dead in the city last month as Natasha Clifton, a 34-year-old Richmond resident, as investigators seek more information from the public.

Clifton was found in a field after a fire near the 6400 block of River Road on Aug. 26. Police say her death was suspicious and the circumstances remain under active criminal investigation.

In a news release Wednesday, police asked for help establishing Clifton’s movements and interactions in the days leading up to Aug. 26, 2026. Investigators particularly want to hear from anyone who had contact or communicated with her, or who has information about her activities or associates during that period.

Police extended condolences to Clifton’s friends, family and loved ones. Anyone with information can call Delta Police at 604-946-4444 and refer to file 26-16041. Anonymous tips may also be provided to Crime Stoppers.
