A new bike park at Kensington Park North is now open to the public. Construction on the Kensington Bike Park began in May 2026, following consultation with community members and park users on its design.

Mayor George V. Harvie said the park was designed to be accessible to beginners while still challenging more experienced riders, and that the city hopes people of all ages will use the new amenity.

The park is open daily from dawn to dusk. It includes an asphalt pump track; a dirt-jump area with beginner, intermediate, advanced and expert difficulty levels; a staging area for dirt-jump lines; seating and a rest area; and an accessible pathway to the existing parking lot. The asphalt track covers more than 1,000 square metres and is 107 metres long. The dirt-jump area covers 2,600 square metres, with four jump lines containing three jumps each, and is 206 metres long.

The existing pump track at Holly Park will remain open while the city considers a broader master-plan process for that park. More information on the Kensington Bike Park and consultation process is available at letstalk.delta.ca/kensingtonbikepark.
