Pickup driver taken to hospital after crash with Langley fire vehicle
A pickup driver suffered minor injuries after colliding with a Langley Fire Rescue Service apparatus responding with lights and sirens on Aug. 16.

One person was taken to hospital after a Langley Fire Rescue Service vehicle and a pickup truck collided Sunday afternoon in Langley City.
Langley RCMP responded at about 5:22 p.m. Aug. 16 to the crash at 203 Street and Fraser Highway. Police said preliminary findings indicate the fire apparatus was responding to a service call with its emergency lights and sirens activated when it was struck by the pickup.
The pickup driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for assessment and treatment. The investigation is ongoing.
Police are asking witnesses and anyone with dash-camera footage who has not yet spoken with officers to contact Langley RCMP. They also reminded motorists to yield to emergency vehicles using lights and sirens.
