Canadian private-island listings under $200,000 include undeveloped properties
A private-island marketplace lists several Canadian properties below $200,000, ranging from undeveloped Ontario islands to a furnished cabin on B.C.'s Stuart Lake.

Several Canadian private-island properties are listed for less than $200,000, although most are undeveloped and come with restrictions or limited services.
Private Islands Inc. lists 22.5-acre Butternut Island on the Ottawa River for $114,900. The undeveloped property includes a sandy beach and is reached by boat from the public launch at Lapasse; Pembroke is about 30 minutes away.
A three-island package in Ontario's Kawartha Lakes is listed at $129,900. LSR zoning permits only low-impact structures, such as raised tent platforms or small cabins, and the islands have no water, sewage or electrical services. The listing gives annual property taxes as $752.
In B.C., a one-acre Stuart Lake island near Fort St. James is listed at $169,000. It includes a furnished 374-square-foot cabin built in 2013, with a 100-square-foot sleeping loft, wood stove, propane-heated shower and covered deck. Annual taxes are listed at under $800.
MacLellon's Island in Nova Scotia is offered at $199,000. The 15-acre Atlantic property is vacant land accessible by a short boat ride from East Chezzetcook and is about a 45-minute drive from Halifax.
