Surrey residents can buy $20 trees starting Aug. 18
Surrey’s online tree sale opens at 9 a.m. Aug. 18, offering nearly 1,000 fruit and ornamental trees for $20 each, with a two-tree limit.

Surrey’s next online tree sale opens at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, with fruit and ornamental trees available to city residents for $20 each. Buyers may purchase up to two trees.
Nearly 1,000 apple, cherry, plum, dogwood, maple and magnolia trees are available on a first-come, first-served basis through surrey.ca/treesale. Most are in three- or five-gallon pots and range from five to 12 feet tall.
Orders require a credit card with a Surrey billing name and address, or they will be cancelled. Buyers can pick up their trees at Surrey Operations Centre on Sept. 18.
A further sale opens Sept. 29, with pickup Oct. 25. The city says more than 25,000 trees have been purchased through the program, and notes that much of Surrey’s tree canopy is on private property.
