Jazz Aviation flight attendants vote for strike mandate
The union representing more than 1,000 Jazz Aviation flight attendants says 99 per cent of participating members backed a strike mandate after months of bargaining.

TORONTO — The union representing more than 1,000 flight attendants at Jazz Aviation says its members have overwhelmingly approved a strike mandate.
The Canadian Flight Attendant Union said 99 per cent of participating members voted in favour after months of bargaining. Jazz Aviation operates flights under the Air Canada Express brand.
Union president Marsha Walters said the union wants members to be fairly compensated for their work. The flight attendants have been without a contract since Jan. 1.
Halifax-based Jazz, which is owned by Chorus Aviation, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
