Avee Health promotes MSP-covered virtual primary care in B.C.
Avee Health says eligible B.C. residents can use its virtual-care platform for MSP-covered appointments, prescription renewals, referrals and other primary-care needs.

Avee Health, a B.C. virtual-care platform, says it connects eligible residents with licensed physicians and nurse practitioners for primary-care appointments by phone. The company says covered services are available without additional charges to people with a valid B.C. health card.
In promotional material, Avee says it has completed more than 550,000 appointments for nearly 300,000 people, has 253 registered doctors and works with more than 723 pharmacies across the province. Those figures are company claims.
The service says it offers same-day appointments, prescriptions and renewals, medical notes, specialist referrals, lab requisitions and care for common or chronic conditions. Patients should confirm their eligibility, available services and the suitability of virtual care directly with the provider and their health-care professional.
