Police warn high-risk offender will live in Surrey
Surrey Police Service says Skylar Wayne Pelletier will live in the city under electronic monitoring and strict court-ordered release conditions.

Surrey Police Service is warning residents that Skylar Wayne Pelletier will be living in Surrey. Police describe the 26-year-old Indigenous man as a high-risk offender with a history of violent and sexual offences against people, including offences against females.
Pelletier is 6'2" with a heavy build, short black hair and brown eyes. Police distributed his description and photograph to news outlets on Monday, Sept. 14.
He is subject to electronic monitoring and a court order containing numerous conditions. He must not contact any previous victims or their family members, must live at a location approved by his bail supervisor, and may not go within two blocks of the 2500-block of Woodland Drive in Vancouver.
The conditions also prohibit him from consuming, purchasing or possessing alcohol, drugs or any intoxicating substance. He is under a 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew unless his bail supervisor gives prior permission. Surrey Police Service's Major Crime Unit says it will continue to monitor Pelletier and asks anyone who sees him breach his release conditions to call 9-1-1 immediately.
