Guildford Recreation Centre pool to close for seven weeks this fall

Guildford Recreation Centre in Surrey will close parts of its facility for scheduled maintenance this fall, including a seven-week pool shutdown.

The pool will be closed from Aug. 31 to Oct. 19. Gymnasiums will close from Sept. 12 to 22, while the entire centre will be closed Sept. 16 to 22 and reopen Sept. 23.

The City of Surrey says registered program participants will be notified directly about any effects on their activities and advises residents to use other recreation centres during the closures.
