A man faces two dangerous driving charges in a fatal Burnaby-area crash
Police say Adam Jones-Veneziano was charged last month in a 2024 Boundary Road collision that killed a Burnaby couple. His first court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 20.

A man has been charged with two counts of dangerous driving causing death in a 2024 crash that killed a couple in Metro Vancouver, authorities say. Burnaby RCMP said the investigation began on Dec. 21, 2024, when officers were called to a two-vehicle collision on Boundary Road. Reports indicated one vehicle had T-boned the other.
The crash killed a Burnaby couple: a 67-year-old woman and a 71-year-old man, the RCMP statement said. Police said the charges against Adam Jones-Veneziano were approved last month.
“Fatal collision investigations take a toll on everyone involved,” Burnaby RCMP Insp. Amanda Harnett said in the statement. She said the department’s thoughts were with the victims’ family and friends as the case moves to court.
Jones-Veneziano is not in custody. Online court records show his first appearance on the dangerous driving charges is scheduled for Oct. 20.
