Vancouver police seize more than 328 kilograms of cocaine in largest-ever single bust
Vancouver police say 14 duffle bags of cocaine were found in a shipping container carrying T-shirts, prompting an international investigation.

Vancouver police say they have made the largest single cocaine seizure in the force’s history, recovering more than 328 kilograms.
A local company contacted police on July 21 after staff found 14 duffle bags containing drugs hidden among boxes of T-shirts it had ordered. Sgt. Travis Fraser of the department’s drug unit said the business was shocked by the discovery in the shipping container and called police immediately.
Police say the container originated in Honduras and was loaded onto a vessel in May. It stopped in Jamaica the following month before arriving in Montreal on July 5. Fraser said investigators believe the cocaine was meant to be removed before the container reached the company, but was not unloaded for an unknown reason.
The investigation is ongoing and involves the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency and authorities in Honduras and Jamaica, police said.
