Good Earth Coffeehouse opens at Indigo Metrotown

Good Earth Coffeehouse has opened a new location inside Indigo Metrotown at 4700 Kingsway in Burnaby. The café is serving the Canadian chain’s coffee, food and other menu items.

Tara Tohidi, the location’s owner and operator, said the café is intended to be a welcoming place where guests can connect as well as get coffee and food. Good Earth president and COO Gerry Docherty said the Indigo partnership brings the brand into spaces where people already gather.

A grand-opening event is planned for Aug. 29, with food and drink sampling, entertainment, free brewed coffee throughout the day and an 11 a.m. ribbon cutting.

The café is open Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
