Council directed staff to prepare a report exploring the feasibility of these requests. A representative of the White Rock Orchestra provided an overview of the organization and highlighted its vision of becoming Canada's first fully inclusive orchestra Consideration Of Draft OCP Amendment Bylaw NO. 2582 And Bylaw 2586 - Follow Up On Council Direction At The April 13 And 27 Meetings Council received a report and presentation outlining Council-recommended changes to the OCP Bylaw. A Public Hearing will be held for the Official Community Plan Bylaws (Bylaw 2582 - Provincial Legislation Alignment and Council-Directed Changes to North Bluff Corridor Plan, and Bylaw 2586 - Regional Context Statement) on Monday, July 27, 2026. Updated Policy NO. 301 - Procurement Council approved an updated policy related to Procurement. All policies can be found on the City website at: Council Policies | White Rock, BC ERP Implementation Status Update And Funding Request Council reviewed a report on the City's Unit4 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation, approving an additional $225K to support the project. This brings the total project budget to approximately $3.7 million, consistent with the upper-end estimate presented to Council in April 2024. The additional funding will be sourced from the remaining 2023 General Fund operating surplus ($137,000) and the 2026 capital contingency budget ($88,000). Contract Award - HUB26-001 Architectural And Prime Consultant Services - White Rock Community Hub Council approved the integrated multidisciplinary consulting component of HUB26-001 in the amount of $335,930 (excluding GST), bringing the total contract value for HUB26-001 - Architectural and Prime Consultant Services to $722,085 (excluding GST). Council also authorized staff to finalize and execute the agreement, securing the full multidisciplinary professional team required to advance Decision Gate 1, including architectural, engineering, landscape architecture, accessibility, sustainability, building code, and other specialized consulting services. Committee Recommendation - Economic Development And Marine Drive Revitalization Advisory Committee Council endorsed two (2) recommendations from the Committee regarding: Bylaws Receiving Final Reading The following Bylaws received final reading: A bylaw to amend the White Rock Financial Plan (2026-2030) to include: Painting Of Benches Along Marine Drive Council directed staff to paint the 15 benches on the south side of Marine Drive (between Cypress & Foster Streets) and the 12-15 benches on the south side of the railway tracks. $5,000 was allocated for this project. The next Regular Council meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 27, 2026, and will be held in the Council Chambers at the White Rock Community Centre (15154 Russell Ave, White Rock).
