Water main break repaired at 201 Street and 97 Avenue
201 Street is fully open after a water main break near 97 Avenue was repaired; affected residents are asked to run cold taps for 20 minutes.

The Township of Langley says a water main break near 201 Street and 97 Avenue has been repaired, and 201 Street is fully open to traffic.
In its Sept. 1 update at 7:50 p.m., the Township said the road had been paved. Residents affected by the break are encouraged to run their cold-water taps for 20 minutes.
Earlier, crews backfilled the site and flushed the water main, while 201 Street reopened to two lanes. During repairs, traffic control on 201 Street between 96 Avenue and 97 Avenue reduced traffic to one lane. Water service to one property was affected and the property was notified; nearby properties could have experienced low pressure or cloudy water.
