Whitecaps midfielder Andres Cubas named MLS all-star
Vancouver Whitecaps defensive midfielder Andres Cubas has earned his first MLS all-star selection and will join two club teammates in Wednesday's match.

Vancouver Whitecaps defensive midfielder Andres Cubas has been named to Major League Soccer's all-star team, his first selection since joining the club in April 2022.
Cubas will join Whitecaps teammates Thomas Muller and Sebastian Berhalter in Wednesday's midseason exhibition, which matches MLS all-stars against an all-star side from Mexico's LIGA MX.
The 29-year-old has started 11 of his 12 MLS regular-season appearances this year, recording three assists and a league-leading 58 tackles. He previously played every minute of Paraguay's run to the Round of 16 at the FIFA World Cup.
Vancouver continues its road trip Saturday against Western Conference rival Minnesota United FC.
