Overnight rollover crash in Surrey sends two people to hospital

Two people were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a high-impact collision in Surrey on Thursday night.

At about 10 p.m. on Sept. 24, a Mercedes and a Ram pickup truck collided at 152 Street and 99 Avenue. RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit officers, BC Emergency Health Service paramedics and Surrey Fire Service crews responded.

A freelance photographer at the scene said the pickup flipped, sheared a light pole and came to rest on its side. Surrey Police Service said by email that the vehicle occupants sustained minimal injuries.
