Surrey offers tips for securing belongings at recreation facilities

The City of Surrey is reminding visitors to take basic precautions to secure their belongings while using recreation facilities.

The city recommends locking personal items in a locker every visit. Locker use costs 25 cents, payable by credit or debit card at the front desk.

Visitors are also encouraged to leave unneeded valuables at home and keep phones, wallets and keys with them when possible. If cycling to a recreation centre, the city advises using a quality lock at a designated bike rack.
