Two charged, other suspects sought in Langley gang homicide investigation
IHIT says two men face conspiracy-to-commit-murder charges in the 2025 killing of Taran Pandher, while investigators believe others were involved.

Two men have been charged with conspiring to murder Taran Pandher, who was shot to death inside a taxi in Langley in September 2025, according to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team.
Jared Douglas Polischuk, 35, and Luis Manuel Baez, 29, were arrested Friday and jointly charged. IHIT says it believes other people were involved and its investigation is continuing.
Pandher, 24, was a passenger in a taxi near 200 Street and 53 Avenue when he was shot on Sept. 5, 2025. Officers found him suffering life-threatening injuries shortly before 10:30 p.m.; he died at the scene. No one else was hurt.
A vehicle fire reported soon after in Surrey is believed to be connected to the shooting. Investigators have described the killing as targeted and linked to the B.C. gang conflict. IHIT says investigators developed information about the alleged motivation and planning, but further details are expected to be addressed through the court process.
