School District 43 welcomes families to the 2026–27 school year
Superintendent Nadine Tambellini encouraged families to take part in school communities as SD43 begins the 2026–27 school year.

School District 43 Superintendent Nadine Tambellini welcomed new and returning families to the 2026–27 school year, thanking them for their continued support of schools and students.
Tambellini encouraged caregivers to participate in school life in ways that work for their families, including through Parent Advisory Councils, classroom volunteering, school events, field trips, performances and celebrations. She said their involvement helps create positive, supportive environments and strong school communities.
The district renewed its Strategic Plan last year to strengthen educational excellence and respond to changing student and community needs. Its Directions 2030 long-term vision focuses on the success and well-being of every learner through inclusive, equitable and innovative learning environments, stronger family and community partnerships, and support for engaged, resilient lifelong learners.
Tambellini said the school year will bring both challenges and opportunities. She said the district remains committed to working with families to foster belonging, innovation, collaboration and excellence while providing the best possible educational experience for every student.
