One person taken to hospital after overnight two-vehicle collision in Surrey
Surrey Police Service is investigating a two-vehicle collision at 138 Street and 64 Avenue that sent an Audi driver to hospital.

Surrey Police Service (SPS) is investigating an overnight collision involving two vehicles at the intersection of 138 Street and 64 Avenue in Surrey.
Shortly before 11 p.m. on Sept. 16, 2026, frontline officers responded at the request of Surrey Fire Services. They found the driver of a significantly damaged Audi sedan receiving emergency treatment from BCEHS paramedics. The adult man, who was the Audi’s only occupant, was taken to hospital with injuries that were not known. Police expect he will be released from care sometime on Sept. 17, 2026.
The driver of the second vehicle, a Toyota Prius that could not be driven because of the damage, was treated at the scene by Surrey Fire Services for minor injuries. A passenger had also been in that vehicle but left before police arrived and was later confirmed to be uninjured.
SPS’s Collision Investigation Unit has taken over the investigation. Police said the investigation is in its early stages and alcohol is not believed to have been a contributing factor. Parts of the intersection were closed for several hours overnight and have since reopened.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has information, including dashcam footage, is asked to call Surrey Police Service at 604-599-0502 and quote file 26-99673 (SP).
