Interested in training to become an education assistant?
Delta School District’s part-time Delta Teaching Assistant Certificate program prepares participants to work with K–12 students in inclusive settings. The next 10-month program starts in January 2027; applications close Nov. 27, 2026.
The Delta Teaching Assistant Certificate (DTAC) program develops the knowledge and skills participants need to work as an education assistant (EA) with K–12 students in a range of inclusive settings. Graduates are prepared to contribute as valued team members in the ongoing delivery of inclusive learning opportunities and to work with classroom teachers to maintain a culture of equity and success for all students.
The part-time program runs for 10 months, with evening and Saturday classes and six weeks of full-time practicum experience. The next program starts in January 2027.
