Coquitlam RCMP seek dash-cam video after targeted shooting

Coquitlam RCMP are investigating what they describe as a targeted shooting over the weekend and are asking the public for dash-camera video from the area.

Police are seeking footage from vehicles travelling or parked in the 100 block of Schoolhouse Street between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Aug. 29. Investigators say even video that appears unrelated may contain useful information.

RCMP say there is no ongoing risk to the public and that the motive remains under investigation. Anyone with relevant footage is asked to call Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550 and refer to file 2026-22634.
