Nine years after Kristina Ward disappeared, her family continues its search
Kristina Ward’s family and friends will hold a walk in Surrey on Sept. 24, seeking information nine years after the Langley woman went missing.

Sept. 25 marks nine years since Langley woman Kristina Ward disappeared. She was reported missing on Sept. 25, 2017, and was seen two days later, on Sept. 27, 2017, in surveillance video at 144 Street and 104 Avenue in Surrey. There has been no information about her since.
Her father, Art Ward, said the family needs answers and wants to bring its daughter home. He said hope remains, while the silence has been a daily source of pain.
On Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026, Ward’s parents, relatives and friends will walk along 104 Avenue from 144 Street to 140 Street to remember her and seek information. Langley RCMP will join her parents along the route where she was last seen on surveillance video. The public is invited to take part and support the family.
Langley RCMP media relations officer Sgt. Zynal Sharoom said police continue to search for Ward and urged anyone with information to contact Langley RCMP or Crime Stoppers. Information that may help locate her can be reported to Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200, or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
