The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has identified the victim in a Langley homicide investigation as 75-year-old Larry Greig.

Greig was found critically injured after Langley RCMP were called around 9:50 p.m. on July 1 to Park Avenue and Douglas Crescent for a report of a man in distress. He died in hospital July 9.

IHIT spokesperson Sgt. Freda Fong said the investigation so far indicates Greig was involved in a physical altercation shortly after leaving a licensed establishment.

Investigators released surveillance images of four people who were in the area at the time and are seeking to speak with them as the investigation continues.
