Langley man sentenced to 11½ years for drug trafficking and firearms offences
Tyler Missen of Langley has been sentenced to 11½ years after pleading guilty to drug-trafficking and firearms offences following a multi-agency investigation.

A Langley man has been sentenced to 11½ years in prison after pleading guilty to several drug-trafficking and firearms offences, police say.
Tyler Missen was charged July 2 and sentenced Aug. 26. The Chilliwack RCMP says he has 10 years and 10 months left to serve after credit for time already spent in custody.
The investigation began in April after Abbotsford Police Department officers saw a known drug trafficker driving while prohibited. Officers arrested the driver and found drugs and a handgun, police said.
Search warrants executed June 29 at two Abbotsford locations and one in Langley led to three arrests. Police seized firearms, suspected methamphetamine, cocaine and fentanyl, as well as vehicles and $45,000 in cash.
Chilliwack RCMP said the investigation involved Abbotsford police, Langley RCMP and the Integrated Emergency Response Team. Cpl. Stephan Mendela said the case removed significant quantities of harmful drugs from the communities involved.
