Surrey police seek public’s help locating missing man Jadyn Adamson

Surrey Police Service is asking the public for help locating Jadyn Adamson, a 32-year-old man last seen at about 2 p.m. on Aug. 21 in the 17000 block of 82 Avenue.

Police say Adamson left his residence on foot while pushing a wheelbarrow containing camping equipment. The wheelbarrow and equipment were found Aug. 22 near 172 Street and 80 Avenue. SPS says Adamson often camps in greenspaces in the area, but finding his belongings there is unusual.

Adamson is described as white, six feet tall and about 140 pounds, with short brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen in a green sweater, pale green shorts and a Grizzlies Baseball hat. Police say he was barefoot and prefers walking without shoes.

SPS and Adamson’s family are concerned for his well-being. Anyone with information, or home or vehicle video from the area, is asked to call 604-599-0502 and quote file 26-89789 (SP).
