Smile Cookie campaign raises $11,000 for Richmond Hospital Foundation
Tim Hortons franchise owners Ajit and Harj Thandi raised $11,000 through the Smile Cookie campaign for Richmond Hospital Foundation’s future Yurkovich Family Pavilion.

Tim Hortons franchise owners Ajit and Harj Thandi have donated $11,000 to the Richmond Hospital Foundation after raising the money through the chain’s Smile Cookie campaign.
The pair own eight Tim Hortons locations in Richmond, Delta, Vancouver and Burnaby. The donation will support the foundation’s Power Up Campaign and the future Yurkovich Family Pavilion at Richmond Hospital.
Harj Thandi said involving staff mattered because health care affects families at difficult points in their lives, and knowing the result of their work created a shared sense of purpose. Spencer Gall, the foundation’s chief philanthropy officer, said the campaign gives people in Richmond a meaningful way to support future care in the community.
