White Rock’s annual water main flushing program runs Nov. 2 to Dec. 4
White Rock will flush its water mains from Nov. 2 to Dec. 4, 2026, on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Residents may notice temporary discolouration or lower water pressure during work in their area.

The City of White Rock’s annual water main flushing program is scheduled for Nov. 2 to Dec. 4, 2026. The city says the proactive maintenance helps maintain its water distribution system and provide residents with a consistent supply of high-quality water.
Work is planned for Monday to Friday, between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. The schedule may change, and signs will be posted in areas where flushing is underway. The program removes sediment from water distribution pipes, improves water quality and helps prevent corrosion. It also helps identify and address problems such as leaks and broken valves.
Residents may notice temporary water discolouration or reduced pressure while flushing takes place in their area. If low pressure or a water outage lasts longer than three hours, contact the city’s Engineering & Municipal Operations Department at 604-541-2181.
