Free commercial vehicle safety session planned in Langley
Burnaby RCMP and Township of Langley bylaw staff will host a free, registration-required commercial vehicle safety session on Sept. 22 for Class 5 operators and businesses.

Burnaby RCMP and the Township of Langley Bylaw Enforcement Division will host a free commercial vehicle safety information session for drivers and operators on Sept. 22, 2026.
The session runs from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Township of Langley Fire Training Centre, 20355 32 Avenue. Registration is required.
Organizers say the session is intended to help drivers and companies avoid costly violations while improving road safety. Topics include pre-trip inspections, the Commercial Transport Act, truck routes, cargo securement, live loads, vehicle defects and weight rules.
It is aimed at operators of Class 5-licence commercial vehicles, such as box trucks and delivery vehicles, rather than Class 1 drivers of large transport vehicles and semis. BC Highway Patrol, Delta Police and WorkSafeBC will take part and answer questions.
Organizations can register multiple attendees by emailing E_Burnaby_Traffic_Safety_Initiative@rcmp-grc.gc.ca.
