Raptors to face Clippers in Vancouver preseason game Oct. 10

The Toronto Raptors will return to Vancouver for a preseason game against the Los Angeles Clippers at Rogers Arena on Saturday, Oct. 10.

The game is part of the NBA Canada Games, formerly the NBA Canada Series. The Raptors will also face the Miami Heat in Quebec City on Oct. 3, in what the NBA says will be the first preseason game held there.

The Oct. 10 matchup will be the Raptors’ seventh visit to Rogers Arena since the Vancouver Grizzlies moved to Memphis in 2001. It will also be the eighth NBA preseason game in Vancouver since the Canada Games began in 2012. Last year’s Raptors-Denver Nuggets preseason game at the arena sold out.

Fans can register online for access to exclusive ticket presales. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale to the general public Aug. 20.

Vancouver will also host two Toronto Tempo WNBA regular-season games in August: against the Portland Fire on Aug. 21 and the Las Vegas Aces on Aug. 23.
