Ricky Bajwa is running for Surrey city council with public safety among his priorities
The Conservative Party of Surrey candidate lists safer streets, lower taxes and responsible city spending, and support for local businesses, families, seniors and youth as priorities.

Ricky Bajwa is running for Surrey city council with the Conservative Party of Surrey. A longtime Surrey resident, he describes himself as a community leader, business professional, certified badminton coach, former international athlete and longshoreman.
His three priorities are safer streets and stronger action against crime and extortion; lower taxes and responsible, transparent City Hall spending; and support for local businesses, families, seniors and youth. Expanding on public safety, Bajwa says he would work with council, police, businesses and community organizations to improve neighbourhood safety. He would advocate for practical measures to address crime, extortion, unsafe public spaces, lighting and community concerns. Residents, he says, should have clear ways to report problems and receive follow-up. His goal is a safer Surrey where families, seniors, businesses and youth feel comfortable in their neighbourhoods.
Bajwa says his business, work, sports and community experience gives him a practical approach focused on listening to residents and delivering accountable local government. Voters can find out more at surreyconservatives.com and on Facebook and Instagram under Ricky Bajwa.
