Surrey’s $20 tree sales return with two fall pickup dates
Surrey will offer 1,000 trees in each of two online sales, with residents limited to two trees per sale and pickups planned for September and October.

The City of Surrey’s $20 tree sales are returning this summer, offering residents a low-cost way to add trees to their properties and support the city’s urban forest.
The first online sale opens at 9 a.m. on Aug. 18, with pickup scheduled for Sept. 13 at the Surrey Operations Centre. A second sale opens Sept. 29, with pickup on Oct. 25. Each sale will offer 1,000 trees on a first-come, first-served basis, and households may buy up to two trees per sale.
Available fruit and ornamental trees include apple, cherry, plum, dogwood, maple and magnolia. The city says the trees were selected for local popularity, suitability to Surrey’s climate and support for biodiversity. Details are available at surrey.ca/treesale.
