Guildford Town Centre opens month-long Book Corner pop-up
Nearly 1,000 books are available to browse and buy at Guildford Town Centre’s Book Corner until Sept. 20, with proceeds supporting Surrey literacy initiatives.

Guildford Town Centre has opened The Book Corner, a month-long pop-up offering nearly 1,000 titles for visitors to read and purchase.
The attraction is in the lower-level Centre Court North area and runs daily during mall hours through Sept. 20. Tables and chairs are available for people who want to browse before buying.
All proceeds will support literacy initiatives of the Surrey Fire Fighters' Charitable Society through Surrey Libraries and the Surrey Youth Grants program. Books and related merchandise are card-only purchases.
Customers who purchase five books can receive a stamped library card worth a $10 reward at selected mall retailers, while supplies last. Mall marketing manager Kiran Deol said the pop-up was timed for back-to-school season and adds a broader book selection to a mall without a dedicated bookseller.
