Port Coquitlam announces winners of the 2026 PoCo Best Biz Awards
More than 150 guests attended an invitation-only event recognizing local businesses selected through public voting and an independent awards committee.

The City of Port Coquitlam celebrated the winners of its 2026 PoCo Best Biz Awards on Sept. 24 at an invitation-only event at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre. More than 150 guests attended to recognize local businesses selected by voters and an independent selection committee.
Mayor Brad West said the business community participated strongly, citing both the number of nominations and votes cast in the new Community Choice categories. He congratulated the winners and finalists, saying their work and dedication to residents help make Port Coquitlam a place to live, work and shop.
Phoenix Truck and Crane received Business of the Year, selected by the Awards Selection Committee. Community Choice winners were Cassandra Cake Co. for Best Bite in Town, Patina Brewing Co. for Best Sip in Town, Western Sky Books for Best Local Find in retail, and Strong & Calm Pilates Studio for Best Local Service in professional services. Me-N-Ed’s Pizza Parlor and Quest Central Gaming Lounge were co-winners of Family Favourite.
The Arms Pub and Coquitlam Florist were co-winners of Legacy Business of the Year, a special category recognizing businesses that have served Port Coquitlam for more than 25 years.
The awards introduced a Community Choice voting model this year. Nominations ran from July 20 to Aug. 16, followed by voting from Aug. 28 to Sept. 13. The City thanked event sponsors Port Coquitlam Downtown Business Improvement Association and PoCo Building Supplies.
